The Windward Community College Radio Observatory (WCCRO) and the University of Florida Radio Observatory (UFRO) both have special receivers, called spectrographs, which allow users to view how radio signals are spread across 10 MHz of the radio spectrum. These receivers are sensitive and fast enough to detect changes in the radio emissions of the Sun and Jupiter. If you own an SDR14 radio from rfspace.com, you can use the accompanying software to produce your own spectra.
